Dear priyankeshu,

I have heard of vedic astrology but yet to learn it.The four Veda contain the knowledge of astrology, cosmology,maths, science,yoga, agriculture, deals with society, wars and rules of war etc..

i am learning vedic mathematics , the maths part of vedas was derived by his holiness late Swami bharti krishna tirth ji, he meditated for two years in vedas mantras and derived this knowledge.he wrote sixteen volumes on it , but before he could publish it was lost in the fire at Puri.He was the head of math established by Adi shankaracharya.adi shankracharya has established four maths during his life time for propogation of true knowledge of vedas Jyotir Math of North in Badrinath-Kedarnath, Govardhan Pith of East in Jagannath Puri, Shrungeri Math of South in Shrungeri, and Sharda Pith of West in Dwarka.Swami bharti krishna tirth was chosen as Jagat guru and was head of puri math.Adi shankara is considered reincarnation of Lord shiva.

Please do teach us vedic astrology.The modern astrology has its root in vedas.Sage Parashar father of sage Ved Vyas has written parashar smiriti which reveals about astrology.Infact i would like to tell you that how ved vyas ji was born. Maharshi parashar was a mantra drishta rishi.Once he was travelling in a boat suddenly he became gloomy, the boatmen asked the reason he stated that an auspicious occassion is coming and a great dignitary will be born at this hour but i am not married so it will not happen.So the boatmen offered his daughter to him and married him as per vedic rite.By there union sage ved vyas was born, who was truly a genius considered to be an avatar of Vishnu.He is the one who segregated four vedas and wrote them on bhoj patras.He is contemoprary of Lord Krishna.

Hi Everyone,

Does belief in Astrology imply that your future is already scripted?
If all is predetermined/predestined then free will becomes irrelevant?

Are we not free spirits fully able to shape our destiny? For many the equipment used to shape this destiny is Yoga, right.

This leads to the basic question about free will.
Samadhi, superconscious state is not called liberation without reason.
I think, among human beings we encompass the full range from total determination, to total freedom.
