Hi to all im looking for some advice im wanting to purchase a book by B.K.S. Iyengar i dont know whick one to buy im looking for one with loads of different yoga positions generally one that will help me gain more flexibility ive come across light on yoga i quite like the look of it as the reviews are good any help would be greatly appreciated

i do not recomend B.K.S. Iyengar if you are below 30 yrs old and have a slim body .

I agree. Dido.

Get Iyengar's path to holistic health-it is a great book for beginners. it has color photos that show poses "in the round" from various angles. The back section recommends sepcific poses for specifc health issues and shows them modified (with props). This is helpful.

Light on yoga is more detailed and comprehensive. More for advanced beginner/intermediate (in my opinion).
