Hey, I did not even know what endometriosis is. I had a google search and now I know.

Gotta tell my wife as she used to have very tough periods, (now suspended by breastfeeding), she should visit a doctor. I always taught that too much pain is not normal. I wonder how many women silently suffer of it ...

Hey Kelly,
I am a midwife from Athens,Greece. Endometriosis is a difficult issue to be spoken on the internet. It is very often especially in your age. The problem is that pieces of endometrium which is the internal tissue of the uterus instead of falling out during menstruation they stay in the uterus or move to other organs into the belly cavity such as the colon or the fallopian tubes. The symptoms are extreme pain during menstruation and difficulty in conciving a baby. To diagnose endometriosis you have to do a laparoscopy unless you do that the symptom of pain does not indicate endometriosis. No ultra-sound shows.I know you have not done it, because if you had your doctor would have 'burned' those tissues of endometrium.Make sure you have the correct diagnosis.
After laparoscopy there is high posibility to create endometriosis again so I think that unless you are ready to have a child you should skip all this surgery. You can help yourself by hatha yoga and proper nuitrition as advised by an expert. Try homeopathy for the pain and energy therapy, these can extinguish the problem.Take precautions, avoid using tampons or having sex during menstruation and skip the cold baths.
That's all I guess.
good luck
