I live in Pune and came to know that Guruji passed away today early in the morning. My shraddhanjali to him. People like him never die… he survives through asana , pranayama and meditation in everyone who is into yoga…
I used to attend his birthdays and visit his studio. My last visit was in last month. I consider myself fortunate that I could spend few years with him and could meet him on many occasions.
May his soul rest in peace.
I started practicing yoga through his books. Very great man who inspired many into Yoga.
The passing of my teacher’s teacher moves me deeply. His lifetime was one of great impact on the lives of others. May that continue moving forward in only the most positive of ways.

The world is a better place thanks to the deeds of Mr. Iyengar. Many of the teachers I respect the most are of his lineage.
Two of the most renowned gurus: Shri K Pattabhi Jois and BKS Iyengar who won millions of hearts across the world shall now meet in heaven. Although your mortal souls have left this world but your guidance and teachings will remain with us forever. I salute both the humble souls from the bottom of my heart.
Guruji’s method is the only method that worked for me. I was deeply touched by his departure of his body. May he has a favorable rebirh.
