I can't imagine telling people they must do something even if they don't like it. If you don't like web site marketing then don't do it. If you prefer to place your business card on a bulletin board with 30 others, knock yourself out. Being an independent business owner (yoga teacher) means you get to decide how you run your business.

Frankly, if you want to convey yoga to others and you want those others to come to you for that, then I'd recommend taking your training seriously and continuing it over your lifetime. Marketing a well trained teacher is far easier.
