Hello,

I'm having terrible difficulty in getting into the "Little Thunderbolt Pose - Laghu Vajrasana"? Does anyone have any tips? I think I just have a fear that my back will snap

Are you sure you are ready for the pose? The pose may feel slightly uncomfortable if you are new to it but it shouldn't feel like "your back is going to snap".

You can change your hand position so that the pose is not as deep until your back is more open.

Can you do a deep wheel with proficiency and without discomfort? If so, it shouldn't be that hard on your back. If your wheel isn't good, then I wouldn't recommend Laghu Vajrasana. You have to "drop back" in the same way you drop back from standing into wheel. You are closer to the ground which makes it easier but it is a drop back nonetheless.
