some people have done some research and their are claims that the computers and other electronic devices give off a magnetic field that is harmful to us. Personally I feel a tingle in the back of my neck and my body gets kind of energized when I am on the computer. Since I personally have not taken many stimulants for quite a long time, no caffeine, nicotine, etc... I feel I am very aware of how my body reacts to certain things, for example I can eat all the maple syrup I want but honey in small amounts is a challenge for me. Peanuts give me cold sores, raisins really wreak havoc on my sugar levels, etc... For me I do not question that the computer changes me, I am just wondering how to neautralize as best as I can the effects. Has anyone here done any research on this? Many products make many claims and that is how the world is, I just would like something to put on or near my computer at work since I have to use the computer for work.
any insight is appreciated, thanks neil

hi Neil,
I thought you might find the following interesting... "Placing an Ionized Stone near the various items that surround you for about half a minute helps to create a more energized and balanced environment. The Ionized Stones affect virtually all natural materials, such as wood floors, wood or metal furniture, stone walls, and brick or stone fireplaces. In work areas, especially near computers, it is a good idea to place one or more Ionized Stones in strategic locations. The same applies to sleeping areas, such as putting stones under your bed or pillow." This is from the following web address: Ionized Stones - Uses I have not tried this so can not comment further. If you do try it, please let us know... Best Fin |

I thought of it after I posted this, so I called a lady that runs a bookstore, she is very nice and has a lot of knowledge. she said quartz works as well as other stones. So I will stop by this weekend and pick something up

Dear Neil
Do you use a cordless keyboard, a W-Lan router, or a corless mouse on your computer? These radiations can harm far more than just the computer. All the best Lars |

Hi Neil,
I have a (I think it is called an ionside rock crystal so I'll describe it) salt type crystal with a low voltage lamp inside it. It is supposed to neutralise the effects of the radiation and I think it is the same thing Fin is refering to. To be honest I really can't confirm if it works, but I like the soft pinkish colour it gives to my office, it calms me, so in that sense it works well. I also have a normal quartz on my HDD, about fist size, this I belief strongly do help as I have experimented with it already by removing it. When it is not here I can feel how the radiation starts to built up and become too much for my system, moment I bring it back things start to calm down and the air starts to feel better for. This is just a personal observation and may be different for you.

lars, Nothing cordless I notice the effects of the computer rather quickly.
I got a quart clustar, Citrate, and put that between the computer and me and I also got a snowflake stone to wear. supposedly quartz clusters are good and possibly many other stones as well. Pandara, normal quartz as in one piece or a cluster as well? thanks neil

I imagine that it is safe to assume you are using a flat screen. If not, you might consider it...as it reduces the unwanted radiation a great deal. Off course, this probably isn't news. Just thought I'd add it just in case.

Hi Neil,
Mine is a cluster about a man's fist size, I had just one polished piece years ago, but that wasn't very effective. I also have two brass dragons (the Chinese sort) on my screen, one is in the top left and one is in the bottom right corner, not one the screen but the frame of the screen of course. They seem to help with the radiation from the screen.
