As a yoga instructor i feel it is very important to have some ambience playing in the background. It helps my students take their minds off the massive amounts of pain they experience, especially the beginners, but it transmits tranquility within my group. However i was attendings a Yoga convention back in october and they suggested I play something more cheery, like a musical of some sort. I started with my personal favorte "Rent" and went from there. It turns out my students just absolutely loved it, and now i play it for all my classes, even private. If anyone has heard bout this technique or has musical recommendations that would be great! Ta for now.
