NEW HERE...

Hi, my name is Alexandra and i'm new to the forum and relatively to yoga aswell. I got married on Jan 28 this year and my husband took me to part of Asia, while having a great time there we discovered Yoga for the first time. We didn't even know what it was about and we had the best tutor, as we took a private lesson so we could understand the roots, basis and pourpose of yoga. This was in a place called UMA UBUD in Bali. We have been doing Yoga ever since, we even went to Singapore and spend the whole week going to the Como Shambala Center (a yoga place).... Then we got home (Caracas-Venezuela) and we are practicing almost everyday. Since we are new i hope we learn a lot from you.... and can share our experiences. :P

What an awesome first experience you had!!!

Mine was in a class here downtown and I am brand new to yoga also but practicing yoga along with meditation has made all the difference in the world in my life.

I see. I'm just getting into it. It seems like the way to go since it doesn't tell me things without proof like buddhism, but I will probably integrate it with my other ventures of self-teaching.
