Hari Om everyone,
It's been a while I haven't contacted but I'm glad you are all here!!!
Last afternoon I was practicing sasamgasana(easy pose I guess) for sth like 2 minutes. As I passed on to utthita balasana my left nostril started bleeding and that lasted for 10 minutes!
I have no problem with my blood pressure, neither had a cold. It's the first time I experienced it and I am quite surprised as I practise sirsasana often with no problem.
Any opinions, about it?
Is it possible that this has happened because I spent, before that, 45 min doing Surya namaskar which is much more than my sadhana?
The weather was cold this weekend in Greece-too much snow for what we are used to and to be honest I am a little stressed these days.
Any hint would be great
Na 'maste

Hello Katerina,
It has been a long time and it is good to see you on the forum!
I don't have anything substantial to offer if it was only a one-time problem.
The elevation of 5400ft (approximately 1646 meters) of my city along with the cold and dry climate here makes my nasal passages dry too. I oil the inside of nose most mornings using my finger and sesame oil. This helps as does snuffing a dropper of nasya when I have the heat on in my house.

Kind wishes,

Likely a ruptured capillary in the nostril as a result of the weather in combination with some stress.
