Hello Everyone,
I was just trying to have an asana practice and I started off with handstand, when right away my nose started bleeding. I haven't experienced such a nose bleed (it's been bleeding for 10 min) since childhood. I'd like to mention that I do have a sinus cold at the moment and I live in very dry climate - I think both of these factors are big contributors. I don't believe - or I hope - it's just a one time thing, but does anyone know of any yoga poses that help with nose bleeds? Any advise is appreciated! Namaste |

During a cold, best stick to rejuvenation or relaxation practices to rebuild strength. Sinus conditions may benefit from practicing Neti with a warm saline solution, however this should not be done until the tissues have healed from the nose bleed.
