I have a subluxated (misaligned) rib - 2nd rib on right side, and am being treated by a chiropractor and massage therapist. My rhomboid minor is very tight; this either caused or was caused by the subluxated rib. I have practiced yoga vigorously for ten years. Perhaps some poses caused the problem; I am uncertain. I am currently avoiding any upper body weight-bearing poses.
Are there any suggestions for poses or exercises which will help with my rehab? Also, are any poses contraindicated for rib subluxation? I want to get back to my full yoga practice, and probably need to be more careful in the future so I do not have a recurrence.
