I have this opportunity to help design this industrial facility, they make mobile phone parts. I once turned down the design of a meat processing factory, because I would 've felt like a hypocrite, being a vegetarian.
Now, I am a mobile phone user ... but I wonder. Should I accept it ? Acceptance would mean a lot of work in a different city, but it would pay well. In fact, only the payment is what makes me even consider it. Guess I'll just drop this. Thanks.

Hubert, my advice do you need it to put bread on the table, to look after your family to supply in the needs of your family, if yes take it. However, if you don't need it and will do it only motivated by the greed of more money, then reconsider it. I am many times in my business faced with the same choices.

Well, it would allow me to buy a Volvo. A Volvo is always a nice thing to have.
Than again it would probably mess up the relative and fragile balance of life I started to develop.

if you do not design it they will have someone else do it. So your turning it down would not stop it from being built. But then again if someone wanted to build bombs would would you want to desing that? so I guess it may come down to the morality of what you choose to be involved in.

Dear Hubert

Do you think the Volovo will give you the everlasting happyness, do you relly need it or is it just another toy?
The best car has a beginning and an end.
So balance like Pandara said to me also seems to be more important.
All the best
Lars

You are right of course.
Still, I admire Volvo design, especially those of the XC series. Simply, they are beautiful, lean, an un-obtrusive.
Did you know Volvos supposed to be the vegan-hippie choice ? Safe, and of good quality.
Too bad I probably won't have one, as paying my employees comes first. A happy face is still nicer than the beauty of an inanimate object. (I am not a 100 % sure Volvo's are inanimate, though. )
