Greetings yoga friends. I would much appreciate some help. If you could list your least favorite yoga posture and why, we will be addressing some of the most commonly 'disliked postures' on an upcoming website speciffically designed for people with interest in cultivating more awareness and knowledge of yoga and its benefits.

hey josh, i am also in utah! i don't really have any disliked poses, but i have difficulties with eagle, as do many others, including baron baptiste! in my classes, i know a lot of people have a hard time with one-legged pigeon pose as well, especially beginners who cannot use the breath sufficiently to help make this pose less, shall we say, *intense*.

Thanks for your insights. It's nice to see a fellow yogi/yogini in Utah. I will let you know when we finish our research and the site is up and running.

i think postures are different for everyone.... i dislike the table, downward dog, and there are others that i just think my body is not made to do! downward dog, because i can't touch my heels to the floor yet, takes up alot of energy with bended knees and it's not much of a relaxation pose for me. i have bought blocks but have not tried them yet (working on more aerobic type workouts to lose weight before going back to strictly yoga). table hurts my arms. but love triangle, tree, and some versions of warrior poses. let us know when your website is up and running!

I don't know if I'd say it was my least favorite but I find supta virasana very difficult. My quads are so tight that it pulls on my knees and my lower back.
