Namaste!

Does anyone here practice more than once a day? Do you think it's too much to do so?

I have done this on a couple occasions, I prefer to limit mine to one full session. I found that I had to warm-up on both sessions, just felt that once I am warm in the first session, why not keep going rather than stopping and trying to pick-up later on in the day. I suppose if I was limited for time, I could come back later on in the day to get some more in.

Well, I practice to DVDs that are both about 45 minutes long. I do the Power Yoga in the morning and a slower version after work that really streches out my hips after sitting all day.

Saturday is the only day I can go to a class and that one is 90 minutes, but usually runs a bit longer. I love practcing for that long!

All my Yoga is done to videos I have made. My favorite is "Inhale" from the oxygen channel, which I edited so its just under 45 minutes. I have some other ones that are more focused on the breathing aspects and I'm sure even after a hectic day, I could do one of those because I don't find it as strenuous on the muscles.

Depends.

In some mornings I do warmup, and basic strenght postures like warrior, tree pose ... but I have the real sessions in the afternoon. Sometimes late in the evening. I don't have a fixed schedule, I practice as I feel like it, every second or third day. I found this works better for me than a fixed schedule because my job is quite challenging, sometimes I sit all day but sometimes I am outside a lot, sometimes I have to work all day ...

According to me yoga practiced once in the perfect manner can be enough to facilitate all the positive things and there isnt any requirement to do it again on the same day. How can I forget that it was due to the efficacy of this practice I was successful in overcoming my BP problems for which I knew that I had to take medicines lifelong. Yoga has helped me miraculously and now I am on my way to make myself more better.
