Virasana:

At the end of my asana practice I sit in Virasana with my hands/palma in Gnana Mudra. I find this very relaxing and often drops me into a state of meditation.

My question is: I sense a continuous stream of pulse transmitted thro my hand & particularly the thumb & index finger. The sensation is pleasant & I disregard it, any thoughts on what this is? Recently the pulse has become more discernable. The experience is in no way unpleasant.

Thanks.

Hi Fin,

No idea, but since it is not unpleasant why not explore it more or just allow the comfortable feeling of it to wash over you. When I do something and it feels good or I feel comfortable with I usually will extend my time in it to explore it more and to just let it happen without analysing or judging it. The outflow is usually blissful states which I don't want to end.
