Free Floating

Free floating joy frightens me.
Give me free floating anxiety, anytime.
At least then,
I know what to expect!
Dissappointment, Dissillusionment, Fear.
I know how to deal with that!
I can retreat.

If I am faced with free floating joy,
Love confronts me!
And then, how can I respond?
I can only melt,
hopelessly, helplessly lost.
Consumed in it's embrace,
I
must give up,
and ride the waves
of Love's becoming.
