Living from the INSIDE out

Living from the Inside Out,

I know this is what life is truly about.

Seems I’m always searching for happiness outside myself,
Like that new car, new outfit, or other external wealth.

Searching for the right person to fill me up inside,
Running from one location to another; trying to find a place to hide.

Looking for a place to hide from my pain,
An instant cure-all, an external band aid, a point to gain.

I am helpless, often feeling out of control,
Paying attention to people, places and things instead of
listening to my Soul.

Waiting for the perfect moment to come,
Instead of enjoying the one I have, basking in the sun.

Trying to MAKE something happen by force,
Instead of trusting that I’m right on course.

If I just remember that I’m right where I need to be
And know that Divine Intelligence is shining through me.

If I can live my life each day,
Excited about the miraculous part I’m here to play.

Remembering that all the wisdom I need to see,
Is always right inside of me.

Remembering that all I desire, want and need,
Has already been planted in me, like a seed.

A seed that needs the nourishment of Knowing,
That this God seed inside me is always growing.

The love, peace, joy and health I wish to see,
Is really the Ultimate Truth of me.

My purpose in life is to learn to live from the Inside,
Where the perfect expression of Spirit resides.
