Molecular memory

They say that a single cell can have a "molecular" memory of events that it has experienced.

If so,
then not all of the memories
in me
are those that
I have experienced in this life.

Some memories
can be the memories of
my mother's egg cell
and
my father's sperm cell

Those cells
could have the
memories
of my
grandparents'
egg and sperm cell
and
so on
and
so forth.

Is this the basis of samkskaras ?
