Never Argue With A Fool

For those who enjoy this kind of thing, here is a poem I came across by Dr. M. C. Gupta. It is written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 syllabic format:

NEVER ARGUE WITH A FOOL

It is best not to argue,
But if you do at all,
Never do so with a fool.
A fool can defeat all.

He does not care for the facts.
He does not know debate.
He?s a stranger to reason.
Logic he can negate.

In the end the fool will win,
His logic is so strong!
Decides what he does not like
And then it must be wrong!

It?s better to keep quiet
When challenged by a fool.
Else, to prove his own wisdom,
He will make you a tool.

It is hence my policy
To not respond to those
Who ask questions not to learn
But to be bellicose.

it is great to argue with a fool
if you can handle that
the power of y9ur words
when you have no attachment

for a fool may always remain a fool
yet you may get through to some on occasion
so to argue with a fool
may be the greatest gift you can give

sorry for arguing with ya flex
the fool

Ha! I love it!

Great find, FP.

Oh I wish there were a “karma” or “reputation” button to hit for this. I really appreciate this poem. Thanks for sharing!

 I liked the poem…

It’s true that when a fool start arguing , intelligent one should keep quiet :stuck_out_tongue:

This happens in our day to day life
