lately I have thought of this quote quite a bit

that which you are for strengthens you, that which you are against weakens you

I heard that quote many years ago, but it has come back again to serve a refined purpose for me.

And neither one of them frees you. Being strong is the same as being weak, because both are aspects of imprisonment. All that matters, from the ultimate perspective, is freedom. Strong and weak have no value as long as they imply being imprisoned; they are similar in nature.
