Mukunda,

After having done Agnisar dhouti and Nauli in the mornings for the past 8 months or so I noticed yesterday and today that my face is getting warm and flushed. Also it seems I have more trouble keeping the 15 count with both when I used to be able to go to a 20 count easily. Of course it is always different, but the warm face was new. Should I be decreasing the count and slowing it down? Also still having trouble feeling warmth in the belly as well as samanaprana circulating. I dont know if its related.

heat should remain in the belly more than any other region. When that is not happening it means there is displacement of samana prana and agni. First is definitely slow down practice and see if you can make each motion more crisp, precise and specific. Agnisar should be centered around the navel; nauli should draw both sides of the rectus abdominis into the middle abdomen. Practice going between uddiyana bandha and nauli repeatedly. That is best practice to end the abdominal series with. namaste mukunda
