Digestion Issue

Hello everyone,

I am quite a beginner in "yoga", only practising since a few months, I have the same problem since the beginning, I can t keep anything in the stomach, everything goes out, diarrhea.
I thought that would stop after a while and only appearing because of some sort of purification in the beginning of the practice, but it does not go.
I do not practice pranayama, just concentrate on the postures following mostly geeta iyengar and iyengar teachers.

For additional information, my L5-S1 on the lumbo sacrum are glued together.

with many thanks

Kevin

Kevin,

What sort of glue was used to adhere L5 to S1?

What does your diet consist of.
Describe your body type.
Outline your fitness background and include your age and weight.
What do you do for a living?

Are you practicing at home? Are you doing Savasana after every practice? For how long please? Who is sequencing your asana practice? What poses are you doing and in what order? Are you doing them in that sequence every day or three times per week? When you do the sequence do you alter it?

How soon before practice are you eating? In what order are you eating the foods you are consuming? In what ways are you hydrating yourself throughout the day?

This will be a good sliver of information for us to have in order to direct you with a therapeutic isssue like the one you mention.

hi

STOP yoga practice, do not go for iyengar teachings, do not use any help ( planks , wood, chairs , etc.) all postures should be done slow and steady , you are not doing gym , you have to be patient and go slow .
