I have a student who was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. She has benefited from a variety of asanas especially the spinal twists, and neck and shoulder releases. She just had an MRI and has been diagnosed now with MS She has no crippling effects at this time. Are there any particular contraindications or helpful asanas you would recommend?
Thank you! B |

I would encourage her to do what her intuition feels to be the best. Meditation is especially to be done and finding practice that connects her to the Guru inside. Also it is important to read uplifting literature and actively seek Grace. Of secondary help is to continue with any practices of restorative poses that can promote her immune system to increase. Mainly using bridge and half Shoulderstand for as long as she can sustain them.
