mukunda,
respects to my most respected yoga teacher with whom i have spent very little time! my husband has a ganglion on his left wrist. from discussions with various donctor friends, i understand that it is a fairly common and benign condition of the nervous tissue. - that it comes and goes as it pleases and the only way to get rid of it is to surgically excise it - which does not guarantee that it will not recur. although supposedly benign, it is sometimes very painful for my husband and is increasingly interering with his asana practice - he pretty much cannot do anything that involves putting weight on the wrist.. we donot want to go the surgery way - is there anything that can be done about it? regards, joya |

I have no experience with such a problem. My suggestion would be to look at the Alternatives to Surgery by Dr. McLanahan (she and her brother wrote this fabulous book, a great reference. Other than that my suggestion would be to try the arthritis diet cited in the forum. It can work wonders on all pitta related issues. Blessings. Mukunda
