Looking for musculo-skeletal yoga therapy training...
I am looking for a yoga therapy teacher training program that focuses primarily on musculo-skeletal issues, their causes, and their treatments from a classical yoga perspective. I am an RYT-200 teacher whose training has been a bit eclectic, but I am most heavily influenced by Gary Kraftsow's Viniyoga. Gary has a no-doubt fantastic yoga therapy training, but the years it takes to complete (about four, and the next round is not set to begin for about two years), plus the fact that it covers all yoga therapy applications eliminates his program for me. Since I believe those of us who want to call ourselves Yoga Therapists must take the responsibility of that title very seriously, and since it takes ages to become very good in all therapy situations, and since I am 53 years old, I'd rather become a master of a specialty (structural issues) sooner than a master of all everything (cancer, depression, diabetes) years and years from now. Would Structural Yoga Therapy be what I'm looking for? Thank you!

You can find out more about structural yoga therapy at the link below. Perhaps a look at the SYT papers under sharing will provide you with information about SYT and its approach so that you may see if it is something that you would like to pursue.
