Migraine

Hello,

For the past one month I have increased doing Anuloma Viloma and Kapalabati pranayama and believe me since then I did not get migraine. I do these breathing exercises in the morning and evening spending about 15 minutes at a time.

Sometimes after taking breakfast/lunch if I have free time, I do these pranayama Mukunda, pls let me know if one can do these breathing exercises in full stomach. What should be the time gap to do them after taking food?

It is wonderful that you have such benefit from these practices. It shows that you have fortitude and confidence in your practice. I prefer to give guidelines about timing before meal rather than after. All yoga practices should finish about one hour before meal. That way you allow maximum time for digestion. namaste mukunda

Mukunda,
Please let me know how long one has to wait to drink water after doing pranayama or yoga. After I finish pranayama in the morning which I normally do for 20 to 30 minutes, I wait for about 15 to 20 minutes to drink water. Do you think I should wait for one hour like in the case of taking food after pranayama?

Thank you,
