Namaste,
Who has prescribed your medications? What has their opinion been of your injury?
What causes you more pain? Has anything lessened the pain?
What is the quality of the pain? There is usually a strong difference for most people between nerve pain and muscle strains (degree of muscle tears).
What have you done to help besides medications? massage? heat? ice?

Kind wishes,

hi nicole,
thank u for ur consideration. well i went to two orthopaedic doctors who suggested me the medications and even some exersice. mostly the medicines were for nerve treatment i guess ( medicines like alphaneurone, neurobian forte etc...).i was even given TRINERVE injections (vitamins injection) in buttocks .along with these i was given vit-E capsules and few painkillers too...doctors i think doubt sciatica but no one has yet confirmed it..
i have acute pain while raising leg straight up and sometimes while walking too but mild pain...but if i fold my knees the pain vanishes.i remember i had a sharp hit from a blunt but narrow object near my lower buttock..the from it pain was acute for some 5 mins but it vanished therein... near about from that time i think i have this pain in left leg for past 2 months now.
well the pain is like someone is pulling a nerve running from the back of my butts and leg, and near the buttock it feels like something is pinching or poking a nerve with a sharp thing when i raise the leg up. while walking the pain is only in the buttocks.
i think the pain is more towards a nerve pain.
i tried one ore two exercises but left it when one doctor ordered complete bedrest.
i have applied massage and heat to the lower buttocks.heating does relaxes it for the moment but dosent removes it...
well thats it .....what do you suggest...is it possible to heal it....cos its taking my life away from me.....i am in terrible pain....plz help me out....thnk u...
