Pilonidal Cyst

I have had a pilonidal cyst (right on my tailbone) for quite a few years now. It has been dormant for the most part, I only had to have it drained twice in the last 10 years. Lately it has been bothering me, especially during postures that balance on your tailbone. I think part of the reason it has been bothering me is that I have lost some weight in my bum and there is less fat there to buffer the pressure of when I am balancing on it. My question is has anyone had this and gotten relief naturally? I have the option of surgery but I would rather not go down that road.....any advice is much appreciated!
