Striking upward Movements in Head
Hallo friends,
I have slight upward movements in head. It disturbs my concentration. I used to concentrate on my breathing before . Now I donot get it that easily. I feel comfortable with Sirshasana and Chakrasana. So I want to know can i do Sirshana and Chakrasana with a duration of 2 min each time for 3 to 4 times. Along with I practice pranayama. Does any one have any other suggestion. Motions in Head
It is unclear what you mean by upward motions in head. Is it physical or pranic energy? If physical i would be concerned.
It is quite natural for heat of pitta dosha to raise to head when doing sirsasana or chakrasana. This should be temporary and pass within a few moments of completing these poses. If it lasts it is a sign of pushing or rajasic practice not sattvic harmonious. Progression to longer poses is often recommended to benefit more ojas but must be sattvic and not overly assertive. namaste mukunda |
