Q - Dear Mukunda,

I ask for your help to find somebody who could help my friend's baby turn so that she has a regular birth. I know you have contacts and I and my friend would greatly appreciate this info. Many thanks in advance, Anne

A - Anne -

I have not taught this method. Although it is relatively simple. the woman does bridge static then rolling dynamically a few times 2-3 and if possible should stand first. then a prolonged stay in lying twist pose. the therapist holds the iliac crest and pulls it downward towards the extended leg, aligned with spine. lots of deep breathign especially with intercostal motions will do the trick. My success story on this took about 10 minutes for baby to turn. Mom was a student of mine. She may be able to do this since she had live experience. possibility if she can wait to see me there in person. or if you wish i can be on phone while anne attempts to follow these instructions with you. best wishes for a happy baby and mom. mukunda
