* Afternoon: Check-in and welcome. Time for individual meditation.
* Vegetarian dinner.
* Evening: Lecture (Roy Eugene Davis).
* After the lecture: Swami Nirvanananda – devotional chanting

Saturday, 25th April 2009
* Early in the morning: guided meditation (Swami Nirvanananda)
* Breakfast
* Morning: Lecture (Roy Eugene Davis)
* Vegetarian lunch
* Afternoon: Lecture 1st part (Roy Eugene Davis).
* Afternoon: Lecture 2nd part (Roy Eugene Davis).
* Guided meditation (Swami Nirvanananda).
* Vegetarian dinner
* Evening: devotional songs with Swami Nirvanananda.

Sunday, 26th April 2009
* Early in the morning: guided meditation (Swami Nirvanananda)
* Breakfast
* Kriya yoga initiation (Roy Eugene Davis).
* Vegetarian lunch
* Afternoon: devotional chanting with Swami Nirvanananda.

The seminar is on a donation basis. The cost of 80 euros which you will be asked to remit when making the reservation, is for meals and lodging at the monastery fron 24th april, to 26th. This charge is “at cost” and the money goes directly to the priests; we have no profit on this charge, as we are a no-profit organization. Reservations will be accepted as from November 2008.

Recommendations

The seminar is open to everyone, but please attend only if you have a sincere interest for spiritual growth. Do not bring with you people who are merely curious.

If you do not know kriya yoga at all, please read the book “Autobiography of a yogi” by Paramahansa Yogananda before attending the seminar. Please visit also Center for Spiritual awareness’ page www.csa-davis.org. During the seminar, Mr. Davis will speak English and we will translate into Italian. Other speakers will speak Italian and there will be a translation into English. You will be assigned a single, double or a triple room according to availability. It is likely that you will have to share your room with somebody else. A French translation will be provided on request, but not a professional one.

What is actually meant by initiation in Kriya Yoga? Is it taking some kind of mantra or accepting someone as a Guru?
