Out of curiosity, I wonder if anyone here remembers Baba Ram Dass (Richard Alpert) and Be Here Now?

For those who may be unfamiliar, Richard Alpert was a Harvard professor who used to hang out with Timothy Leary. Apparently they noticed some similarities between LSD trips and some Indian sacred writings. Alpert traveled to India to see what he could find out. He came back as Baba Ram Dass and wrote a book called Be Here Now. He learned the phrase from a guru he met there.
